Thanksgiving Breakfast 2017
We invite you to join us for breakfast and inspiration! In 2017, our annual Thanksgiving Breakfast is celebrating its 24th year. This is one of our two largest fundraisers which directly aids our mission of providing food and shelter to those in need and offering supportive services to achieve self-sufficiency.
Over 650 business and civic leaders, clergy, politicians, dignitaries, friends, staff and volunteers gather for this hallmark event every year the week of Thanksgiving. Guest speakers address the audience on their perspective on the importance of giving. This year’s emcee will be John Clayton, former newspaper columnist, author and current executive director of the Manchester Historic Association. Guest speakers include: Chris Pappas, co-owner and manager of the Puritan Backroom restaurant and an Executive Councilor for the State of New Hampshire and Rita, a former resident of our Angie’s Shelter. A silent auction, custom cake raffle and donation period are also offered.
Your support will help fund meals for families and individuals who come to our soup kitchen in search of a hot, nutritious meal, or help to purchase food we provide to low income families in our food pantry or provide shelter to the average 60 people who stay at New Horizons each night. Your support with this fundraiser will help many in need in our community – so thank you!
