Plan NH Neighborhood Community Design Charrette | Saturday – Sunday, June 28 & 29, 2019 |Central High School, Manchester NH: Over a two-day period, the Plan NH team will visit the New Horizons neighborhood to talk with community members, property owners, public officials, FIT-NH staff and business owners, to develop recommendations based on what they have seen and heard and also on their own professional knowledge of ideas and trends that could contribute to a healthy and vibrant neighborhood. Run for Hope * | August 1, 2019 | Wolfeboro, NH: Join us for our 3rd annual walk/run in Wolfeboro to benefit those in need in your community. Join us as we Run (or walk) for Hope. After the 5k walk/run, join us for a post-race gathering! For more information or to register, click here!

Wicked FIT Run/Walk* | Saturday, October 26, 2019 | Rollin’s Park, Concord NH: Get your sneakers and costumes ready for our 8th Annual Wicked FIT Run! This certified 5k run (or walk) is a family-fun event benefiting those in need in your community. Prizes are awarded for top runners and best costumes. This is a flat course through the beautiful neighborhoods of Concord. For more information or to register, click here!

Thanksgiving Breakfast | Tuesday, November 26, 2019 | DoubleTree by Hilton, Manchester NH: In 2019, our annual Thanksgiving Breakfast is celebrating its 26th year! This is the largest Families in Transition-New Horizons fundraiser. In 2018, this event raised over $175,000 which directly funds our mission. Over 600 business and civic leaders, clergy, politicians, dignitaries, friends, staff and volunteers gather for this hallmark event every year the week of Thanksgiving. A raffle and donation period encourage attendees to give generously. Several guest speakers address the audience on their perspective on the importance of giving. Empty Bowls | Sunday, March 8, 2020 The 17th annual Empty Bowls fundraiser is Sunday, March 8, 2020, at Brookside Congregational Church, 2013 Elm Street in Manchester from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. The event raises money for Families in Transition-New Horizons. Empty Bowls is an international project to fight hunger. Bowls are created by local artists and donated to be sold. Soup is donated by local restaurants. This date replaces the usually scheduled October Empty Bowls event.

*Join the Families in Transition-New Horizons 5K series. Sign up for all three road race events (at a discounted price) and receive entry into all three events, plus a long sleeve wicking shirt. More information coming soon!
